A friend asked about the many small scrapings beside dung pats in a grass field. She wonders if they are made by badgers, but we are doubtful they are big enough for a badger, so we set up a camera trap to try and find the answer. The first image is full size to show you the scene, but the rest have been cropped for clarity.




We still do not know what animal is making the scrapes – so hopefully there will be more to follow.
