The Long Bridge by Urszula Muskus. A memoir written by Peter’s grandmother about 16 years as a prisoner in Siberia 1940-56. An uplifting book by a woman with a very positive attitude. Urszula does not dwell on the hardships, but records her friendships with prisoners, guards and bandit molls, the work and daily life, and the constellations in the night skies. She was always ready to help those in more need than herself. Please read some reviews, you maybe surprised.
